سکیورٹی کونسل کے ایک رکن روس نے بیلاروس کے خلاف الزامات کو رد کرتے ہوئے پولینڈ اور لتھوینیا کو بحران کی شدت کا ذمہ دار قرار دیا ہے۔بیلاروس سے ہزاروں افراد یورپی یونین کے رکن پولینڈ میں داخل ہونے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں جسے پولینڈ کی سکیورٹی فورسز نے روک رکھا ہے۔یورپی یونین کا کہنا ہے کہ بیلاروس کے صدر لوکا شینکو یورپی یونین کی سرحد پر صورتحال کو خراب کرنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں۔
بیلاروس کے صدر الیگزینڈر لوکاشینکو نے کہا ہے کہ اگر یورپ نے ان پر مزید پابندیاں عائد کرنے کی کوشش کی تو وہ اس کا جواب دیں گے۔انھوں نے کہا کہ ’ہم یورپ کے گھروں کو گرم کر رہے ہیں اور وہ ہمیں دھمکیاں دے رہے ہیں۔الیگزینڈر لوکاشینکو نے کہا کہ ’میں پولینڈ، لتھونیا اور دوسرے خالی دماغ لوگوں کو کہتا ہوں کہ وہ بولنے سے پہلے سوچ لیا کریں۔
