ایبٹ آباد میں جلسہ عام سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے عمران خان نے شہباز شریف کو بزدل اور ڈاکو قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ امریکی سازش کا حصہ بن کر منتخب حکومت کو ہٹایا گیا، ہمارے اوپر بیٹھے ڈاکوؤں کو قوم کبھی تسلیم نہیں کرے گی، میری کال پر 20 لاکھ سے زیادہ لوگ اسلام آباد آئیں گے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم کسی کے جوتے پالش کرنے والے نہیں بنیں گے، سیاسی لوٹے جدھر جائیں گے ضمیر فروش چور اور غدار کے نعرے لگیں گے
عمران خان نے کہا کہ نئی حکومت کے چند دنوں میں مہنگائی کتنی بڑھ گئی کیا کسی میڈیا والے نے دکانوں پر مائیک لے جاکر پوچھا؟ ہماری حکومت میں تو مہنگائی کے چند دن بعد ہی میڈیا والے دکانوں پر جاکر انٹرویو شروع کردیتے تھے اور کہتے تھے کہ کدھر گیا نیا پاکستان۔انہوں نے کہا کہ شہباز شریف خاندان پر چالیس ارب روپے کے مقدمات ہیں، میں نے کسی کو شریف خاندان کی طرح جھوٹ بولتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھا، مریم نواز کہتی ہے میری لندن تو کیا پاکستان میں بھی کوئی پراپرٹی نہیں اور ان کے نام لندن میں پراپرٹی نکل آئی، ایک چپڑاسی کے اکاؤنٹ سے کروڑوں روپے شہباز شریف کے نکلے، ان کے خلاف تفتیش کرنے والے ایف آئی اے افسران کو نکال دیا گیا جو کچھ ہورہا ہے یہ کیا کسی جمہوریت میں ہوسکتا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم غیرت مند قوم ہیں، ہم بوٹ پالیشیوں اور امریکا کے غلاموں کے ساتھ نہیں چل سکتے، ہم کسی کے بوٹ پالش نہیں کرسکتے، یہ قوم قائداعظم کے پاکستان کے لیے تیار ہے، جب ہم بیس لاکھ لوگ اسلام آباد پہنچیں گے تو سب کو نیا پاکستان نظر آنے لگے گا۔قبل ازیں جلسہ عام سے شیخ رشید احمد اور دیگر مقررین نے بھی خطاب کیا۔ جلسے کے لیے پولیس کے 1100 اہل کار سیکیورٹی پر مامور تھے۔ جلسہ گاہ میں داخل ہونے کے لیے 7 واک تھرو گیٹ قائم کیے گئے تھے
